Journal of Digital Humanities and Science Fiction Studies (DHSFS) (Print ISSN: 3105-1278; Online ISSN: 3105-1286) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Hong Kong Information Education Publishing Company Limited. DHSFS publishes two issues each year in both Chinese and English.
Scope and Topics
DHSFS focuses on a wide range of topics related to digital humanities and science fiction, including: digital humanities, digital technology, digital archives, artificial intelligence, 3D printing, science fiction novels, science fiction films, cyborg space, posthumanism, science fiction translation, science fiction dissemination, etc. This journal encourages interdisciplinary research, particularly on emerging topics such as the integration of artificial intelligence in digital humanities and science fiction. In line with international standard, DHSFS does not have fixed sections or columns, but accepts high-quality research within these areas of focus.
DHSFS is a fully open access journal that provides immediate and permanent free access to all published content for all users worldwide without requiring any article processing charges (APCs) or subscription fees. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, allowing unrestricted sharing, distribution, and reuse with proper attribution. Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal publishing rights. We support responsible scholarly sharing by permitting authors to deposit preprints in any repository without embargo and postprints immediately upon publication. This sustainable model maintains the highest standards of peer review and editorial quality while eliminating financial barriers to knowledge dissemination.
